What should I expect on my first visit?

Our priority is to help you get out of pain quickly.  We will have you fill out a brief new patient health history form.  Then Dr. Futral will perform a thorough exam to properly diagnose your condition.  After diagnosing your problem he will begin treatment, which could include the following:

Spinal manipulation
Disc decompression therapy
Manuel traction (stretching)
Ultra sound
Electric muscle stimulation
Hot / cold packs
X-ray  (if medically indicated)

Will I get treatment on my first visit?

Most patients receive treatment on the first visit, unless otherwise medically indicated.

How long will my first visit take?

Our office reserves one hour of time with Dr. Futral for your first visit.  Some patients will not require a full hour, some patients will.  This hour insures that each patient can have the Doctors full attention to answer any questions or concerns they may have.

Do I have to sign a contract or prepay in advance for treatment?

NO!!

How much treatment will I need?

Dr. Futral will recommend the most reasonable and effective treatment to get you out of pain and back to normal quickly with minimal expense to the patient.  The Doctor will recommend what he feels is the best treatment for each patient’s individual condition; however, he encourages his patients to participate in their care.  Dr. Futral feels that long expensive treatment plans are unnecessary.

Will it hurt?

Depending on your condition / injury there may be some tenderness.  Every effort is made to make your treatment comfortable.
